A boring shopping cart

In the absence of a consistent or reliable regulator, it’s buyer beware.

And let’s face it the buyer can’t run around testing, checking or verifying every claim that is made.

This vacuum of verifying claims needs to be filled by guys like Trustified.

It’s not unlike what Examine.com does to collate studies and provide clarity on whether something is hype, reality or a hoax.

My personal approach has been to be absolutely boring with my shopping cart.

I buy whey in bulk from an American firm through a forwarding agent. B2C companies in India charge a bomb for frivolous marketing and ornate packaging. But most consumers seem to value and pay a premium for this noise.

I buy dairy from Akshayakalpa and Milky Mist.

And eggs from Farm made. Akshayakalpa have eggs that I am yet to try.

In a low trust society where the least trust-worthy, incompetent and corrupt actors are the government and their employees, private citizens need to step up to be the heroes we need and deserve.
