The diet book nobody would buy

Mainstream books about diets, eating right and training are a weird beast.
They’re mostly self help books or meant to reinforce your bias or perspective.
A book that stays true to how an individual should eat will probably have chapters that read :
- how to measure your food
- how to log your food
- how to make sense of the log
- what kind of intervention makes sense for you given your lifestyle, goals, attitude and motivation levels
- how and when to shop for ingredients
- how to figure out how much energy you need to consume based on your weight, height, body composition, goals and lifestyle
- how to match energy intake to actual foods based on varying levels of fat, protein and carb target intakes
- how to measure if how you are eating is actually improving your health, aesthetics and physical capacity
- when do you have to increase or decrease your energy intake
- how to get an accurate read on your body composition and how often do you check if your composition and health markers are improving
- what should your activity diet look like to improve your physical capacity, bone health and body composition
- dealing with allergies, intolerances and understand if a food or ingredient is not right for you
It’s going to be a long and boring book that no one will read.
And that is why nutrition professionals exist.
The activity diet book will look just as bonkers and boring for the lay-person.
